The Coven of the Heron
of RavenMyst Circle
The coven of the Heron is part of the RavenMyst circle, a growing tradition.
Gail Wood is the High Priestess and Mouse is the High Priest. We
are located in Central New York, halfway between Ithaca and Cortland. The covenstead is Witchwood where most of our
meeting are held.
Our coven is open to men and women interested in following a path of traditional
witchcraft and focused on shamanic work. Experience tells us that if you live more than an hour away from us, working
with the Heron coven becomes more difficult.
If you are interested in coven work with us, please read the information
on the Herons on the RavenMyst site. Generally, we exchange emails, phone calls and then meet in a public
place. It is a careful process aimed at making the best decision both for the seeker and for the coven members.

Clergy Services
I am ordained clergy and am able to perform legal ceremonies in the state
of New York. Other states will depend on their laws for weddings. I am ordained by the RavenMyst Circle and by
the Universal Life Church.
I offer life passage ceremonies such as weddings, handfastings, funerals,
wakes, memorial services, wiccanings, coming of age, cronings or sage-ing. I can tailor a ceremony to your spiritual
path and I am open to creating a ceremony that speaks to your heart and soul. I prefer to work with you to write and
create a personal ceremony. I do have sample ceremonies available on request. Our outdoor gazebo and gardens are
also available for spring, summer and fall rentals for your ceremony.
My fees are on a sliding scale. If travel and related expenses
are involved, reimbursement for those expenses is expected. Please contact me for more information.
I am also available for short-term counseling. My approach can
include listening and talk, tarot card reading or shamanic journeywork and meditation. If further work is necessary,
I will help you with referrals. An exchange of energy is important in these situations but it doesn't necessarily
have to money.
Teaching and Workshops
I'm available for festival workshops and presentations. Currently,
I have a full-time career, so any travel outside the Central New York area would need to be on weekends. Please contact
